In the last month, Black released a track entitled “Spin”. Both tracks employ the word “walk” multiple times throughout the chorus.
The lyrics of Santana’s hit song read, “Uh, yeah, ho, yeah, I know that you can talk/You talkin’ all that shit, but let me see if you walk/Uh, let me see you walk (Walk, walk, walk, walk, walk, walk)” as Kodak is singing, “Walkin’ and slidin’ and steppin’ and spinnin’/And standing’ on bitches and standing’ on business/Walk, walk, walk, walk, walk, walk, walk, walk,” in his song.
Although the beats and verses of both tracks are totally different, the style in the music videos is similar in that both videos are based on the runway of models.
