Former NFL Player Antonio Dennard Killed in Pennsylvania

In a shocking twist of things, the former NFL athlete Antonio Dennard died after being shot in the bar in Reading, Pennsylvania. The incident happened in the early morning hours on the 16th of October on a Sunday. He was just 32 years old. young.

Berks County coroner’s office has confirmed that Dennard was killed outside of The Legends Bar & Restaurant in Muhlenberg Township, on the outside of Reading early on Sunday morning. He was taken to Muhlenberg Township Hospital. Muhlenberg Township hospital, but was declared dead at 3:15 morning.

Dennard’s death was ruled as a homicide which is why an inquiry is currently in progress through investigators from the Muhlenberg Township police department and the Berks County district prosecutor. An autopsy is set to be held on Tuesday. There are no arrests made so far. It is unclear who was responsible for the shooting, as well as the motive behind the shooting is still unknown.

Dennard had a five-year NFL career

Antonio Dennard used to play football at the level of college when he was a student at Langston University in Oklahoma. The university graduated the school on the 12th of December 2012 and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in fitness and health. Soon after graduation, Dennard started his professional NFL career that continued for five years.

From 2015 until 2017 Dennard was a player for the Arizona Rattlers in the Arena Football League. After that, he changed to coaching and began training youngsters. Another Packers player also passed away during the month. A former tight-end Tyrone Davis passed away on October 2 at the age 50 due to an unknown condition.

Dennard’s friends mourn his death

When word of the death spread Dennard’s close friends began expressing their sorrow via social networks. Brandon Roberts, the player’s former coach, wrote “I used to talk to NFL Scouts about how amazing of you were as a person and what a stand-up child you were. I can recall in the room and talking to the 49ers, Jets, Jaguars, Packers and Eagles. I’m sure you’ve been given wings. RIP.”

When I was watching football with passion I will definitely recall him with great fondness. It’s crazy to rip.”

Another follower also challenged the lieutenant governor in Pennsylvania and wrote “Your low-key attitude towards crime can lead to people being killed. Was the murder that killed Antonio Dennard done by one of those you’d like to give another, third, and fourth chance change?”
